    As You Wish

    As You Wish

    As you wish
    I stand apart
    A tear rolls down
    My face, I watch.

    Neglect evaporates
    Our feelings,
    They become
    A mournful vapor.

    Banished from
    Existence they
    Seep into
    Crevices of time.

    Belonging no more,
    A sob escapes me.
    I stand apart
    As you wish.

I felt the same tear..maybe more than once too many. I like this, it speaks clearly but sadly

I felt this as I read it... Mornful vapor... Sad... I like this...

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
