    Us

    US

    My thoughts are consumed
    With images of us
    Contented, falling asleep,
    Surrendered
    Limbs wrapped
    Around your body.

    A spellbinding perfume envelopes
    Our senses. Private stock created
    Only from love expressed between
    Us. The musky scent soothes
    Us as we slumber,
    Assuring us.

    As the moon thinks to
Leave us, I caress your skin
    Knowing every curve, every
    Nuance. Sleepily you smile
    Reaching for me, tenderly
    You kiss me.

    Drawing me closer,
    My skin ignites, heat
    Of desire causing us to
    Meld. We become
    Entwined, our love
    Knowing oneness.

    As my breath escapes my
    Soul, it is restored with
    Love undoubted. Satiated,
    We turn to the day
    Fulfilled as ourselves,
    Understanding us.
