The Author of life

is my Savior. His pen

writes our destiny, each stroke

bringing us closer to the end.

How could Your wounded hands endure such suffering,

then pick up a pen and write my future in permanent blood?

"I am not worth the price of a cookie crumb. I have dishonored my family, turned my back on my friends, and hidden Your wonders from the world, my Lord"

"I tell you the truth [Stephen]. If you hold onto my truth, you are truly one of my disciples. Everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." John 8:34

"I am indeed a son, my Savior. But I have not done many of the things that make me worthy of that title. I have stolen money from my mother's purse to support my drug addiction. I have cursed my mother in anger, displaced my heart from my home, and struck my brothers in their face. I live a life of sin, and delight in the evils of this world."

"Have faith in God. Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins"

"But I am not worthy of such forgiveness! I have secrets within my heart that eat away at my spirit. Like parasites, they curl around my heart and deprive it from bearing fruit. Like You have said, a tree with bad fruit, or no fruit, should be cut down and cast into the fire, Lord!"

"I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me shall never be thirsty. But as I have told you, you have seen Me and still you do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me, I will never drive away. For I have come down from Heaven not to do My will but to do the will of Him who sent Me. And this is the will of He who sent Me, that I shall lose none of all that He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day. For My father's will is that EVERYONE who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up the last day." John 6:35

"Are the last days upon us, Lord?"

"In the last days, God says, I will pour out my spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fires and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Acts 2:17-21

"I am afraid, God. I have so much to do and see, and oh gosh!...what about everyone else? I have so many friends who do not know You! "

"Keep yourself in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear--hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh." Jude 21-23

As I began to seek the answers to many questions I had about life, the Holy Spirit tranformed my thought process, and abled me to seek truth within the scriptures, in turn rendering myself knowledgeable.

I pray, Father, that someone will stumble upon this blog and stop to ask themselves what is wrong with humanity, and how can they continue in this world. I hope that they will seek Your wisdom and find the truths and clarity of the world, rather than dwell on the lies and confusion. I pray for my ability to act rightly in what I discern from right and wrong. I pray for the strength to not give up when everyone else does, and not to let anger rule my life anymore. I dedicate my life to you, and to the service of all who call upon my name to be lead to Your kingdom in Heaven. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.
