    Mommy Dearest

“…that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love , may grow up in all things into Him who is the head-Christ-“ Ephesians 4:14-15

The gentle knowledge of a mother’s voice soothes the most burnt of spirit.
She is ever tenacious to heal a wounded child; constant in her convictions.

What a wonderful gift from God to have a mom whose heart for her children is as ferocious as a lioness, lurking in and out of the weeds of trust and understanding hungrily on the hunt to tear apart deception and lies.

The anger and bitterness of the world lay its seed in me long ago. The fruit of that tree gives a scent to the demons of the world, mommy.

I lay in my bed pondering the meaning of life. The words from your heart that you have passed down through the years strike a chord in my own nucleus of love.

The music that I hear soothes my burnt spirit. Thank you. I love you so much…

Is the bible quote part of your poem?

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
