    Bleeding out

Lay on the floor and watch time go by,
It's easier to die then cry,
Look away as the cycle begins,
Don't you waste another thought on him.
Takes time to over come the pain,
Bleeding out, its all the same.

You look up and see the dark,
I know what's inside your heart,
The boogie men from beneath the bed,
Trampling like elephants in your head.
All they do is call the score,
On down, two, gone and there's nothing more
Takes time you'll see the gain,
Bled out, when nothings the same.

Can't think past the wall of devotion,
Love crushed is the hardest emotion,
Cast down like the devil himself,
Cast aside set on a shelf,
He comes around, and around again
    Wanting lovers pushing away friends
Take your time your not to blame,
Bleed him out, and it's all the same.

    Pusher, dropping those pills,
    Concentrated from love sick ills
Suck it down while your puked up,
Your lovely worth fitted to a cup
Break out, and leave it alone,
In the end there no where to roam
Take your time, and let it heal
Bleeding out, is a matter of will.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
