Blended Letters
The alphabet in sentient diadem
Reflects the thoughts of earthly kin
Waltz through words of muted muse
Disregard the way, meaning abuse,
Stride, great thoughts untried
In wonderment and graceless pride
Such wisdom comes to our minds
A plethora of gabbled flustered finds.
The letters remain unchanged in design
Each being forces them to stand in line
Making the joyous and unkind ideas
Materialize upon the virgin page, a haze
Of meanderings and mental monuments
To our own lack of enlightenments,
Yet we are praised for our inarticulate
Scrambled views as marveled manuscript.
So say the blended letters of the alphabet
Awaiting one who gives better meaning yet
Send us out into the universe sublime
As worthy soldiers in a regimented line
March across parchments of recorded history
As a clear explanation of our tangled mystery
Words combined, entwined forever thus
Create a dynamic and unforgotten fuss.
Who reads the words upon the page
Will remember their meaning in another age
All we strive to relate to mankind
Oblivious though sighted are blind
Great pride wells in our cloistered line
What we mean to say is best defined
By the feeling for good or ill, manifests
When pen in hand the writer rests.
Blended letters encourage another to exercise
Organizing simple curves in a new disguise.
Reflects the thoughts of earthly kin
Waltz through words of muted muse
Disregard the way, meaning abuse,
Stride, great thoughts untried
In wonderment and graceless pride
Such wisdom comes to our minds
A plethora of gabbled flustered finds.
The letters remain unchanged in design
Each being forces them to stand in line
Making the joyous and unkind ideas
Materialize upon the virgin page, a haze
Of meanderings and mental monuments
To our own lack of enlightenments,
Yet we are praised for our inarticulate
Scrambled views as marveled manuscript.
So say the blended letters of the alphabet
Awaiting one who gives better meaning yet
Send us out into the universe sublime
As worthy soldiers in a regimented line
