    Bloody Mary

    Love dies slowly
Like a rotting peach in summer
    They say love and hate
    Are kindred spirits
    Best friends that always
    Have each others back

They also say that what doesn’t kill you
    Makes you stronger
When life gives you lemons make lemonade
I think what they are trying to say
Is that when shit hits the fan
    Don’t panic
    Just cry

I don’t know how to make lemonade
    Out of a break up
    A miscarriage
    And disappointed parents
But I think I can whip up a bloody Mary

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
