    Blurred Vision

To feel this empty spot inside my soul I need you.
To become what we are meant to be I need you.
I can't take the pain of endless misunderstandings.
Your being stubborn pushes me so far away.
Lost in the confusion that comes with this love.
Frightened to see how far you'll push me.
I cannot imagine me without you
But I can't imagine living with such dismissal.
What will it take for you to acknowledge your wrong doings?
What can I say to make you see me clearly.
All I wanted was to only have some peace.
I've hurt long enough and been through so much.
Will you ever hear me out and also listen?
Will you see the love your missing?
This is my final plead to you.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
