    One more day goes by
    I live another endless lie
    In this house of pain

    I’ve got to many bills
And the only thing that heels
My mind is this sound of rain

    Because I’m alone again
    And your head is filled
    I can’t justify these things I’ve done

I see the pictures of your and me
It’s time for me to leave
So I pack my bags, then I turn and run

As the cold front moves in
I think of how long it’s been
    Since I held you

And every town that I go to
The little things, they remind me of you
    So I keep moving on

    I just keep moving on
    I turn and run
    I keep moving on

    Because I’m alone again
And your head is filled with him
    I can’t justify these things I’ve done

I see the pictures of you and me
It’s time for me to leave
So I pack my bags, then I turn and run

I can’t go any where, anymore
Every time I see your face
It makes me want to leave this place

So now I’m coming back home
And I hope and pray he’s gone
    Cause I can’t say I’m sorry anymore

    Because I’m alone again
And your head is filled with him
    I can’t justify these things I’ve done

I see the pictures of you and me
It’s time for me to leave
So I pack my bags, then I turn and run

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
