    Poem Commentary

    I wrote this for my little princess Keyuna, love you Mom!

    Butterfly

                                         Each day you spread your wings
                                      So many beautiful colors you bring
                                       I can feel your spirit as you fly by 
                                      Each time you pass I wonder why
                                         You stop and sit for a while 
                          Are you tired or did something catch your eye
                       You fly so effortlessly, that I want to fly with you
                                      Just to see the world as you do
                            Lets fly over the fields and across the plains 
                                    Even though it has started to rain
                                 I don't want to stop for I feel no pain  
                             All I can feel is the joy and love you bring
             The time you spend is so breif it leaves me longing to know  
                                    when you're coming back this way
                                 I'm so captivated at the sight of you
                                    Each day I wonder will I see you 
                                 My emotions are all over the place
                                   Don't know what I might not do
                 I want so much to catch you and keep you safe
                       Hide you away put you in a special place
                            Yes you keep me wondering why
                             Something I may never know
                      That's why you're my beautiful butterfly

    I enjoyed your poem. Obviously, it was written your offspring in mind. Your ability to convey your love for her was deeply moving..keep your emotion strong and the words will flow.
