    Caressing

As I look into your eyes my spirit has been caressed,
from the love of your being I no longer feel stressed.
As you hold me captured with your steady gaze,
To be set  free by your love as a mouse from a maze.
As I embrace you within my arms, my hands begin  to caress,
The contours of your body I explore with fearlessness.
You  caress my spirit  with  such longing affections,
You make love to my soul  with the strongest connections.
I once again feel caressed from the spirit of your love,
I'll give thanks to God in the heavens far above.
So please continue to caress me with every ounce of your being,
To remain one with you always that's what I am seeeing.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
