Cast Away
She turned around to see that no one was standing around
Everyone had left her side, there was not a soul to be found.
Her ways were not that agreeable and peace was not profound
But there was something special about this girl, something pure, something sound.
Of course life had passed some hands that couldn't be played at all
At times she often ran, when freedom sometimes would fall.
The world saw her as nasty, a disgrace to human kind
But in her heart there was a survivor, a place of refuge she had to find.
When she spoke her words were blunt, though sadness filled her eyes,
Everyone had cast her aside, though in her heart her beauty lied.
A broken vessel of hurt and deciet walked this lonely path
Cursed and haunted, torn and weak from the stress of human wrath.
She bent her knees and fell to the ground as surrenderence to life's fall
Her tears were of blood and flowed like a river, this woman had given her all.
When all was said and the tears were dried she looked to the hills for help
She asked for grace and mercy too, after all Jesus wept.
Though mysterious in looks and soul desire she picked herself up,
Something inside was different now, a change by the Master's touch.
