    I PROMISED



    I Promised…



    I promised to allow my heart to heal from the past
    Find strength to overcome, receive healing relax, and laugh.
    I promised myself to never fall in love so hard
    But the connection, he feeling…drew you to my heart.
    Amazingly, I can’t tell my heart to stop it’s work
    You take my breath away, you heal the hurt.
    Despite our many differences and trial that we face
    Just to know you are by my side is the solution to the case.
    I can’t make up for past years or erase what has already been
    But I can say my life has changed every since I let you in.
    I give up on the promises I continue to break over and over again
    But its one I vow to keep, and that’s I will love you til the end.
