Child
Child who you raising your voice to
And wrinkling up your nose.
Do you know who I am? Or do you Care?
I’m not the one for you or raise your vocals to.
Put your hands down and be still.
Damn,why didn’t I stay on the pill?
Child don’t treat your mama like that.
Don’t you care how she suffered for you?
She was sick and threw up all over the bathroom floor.
She suffered 24, 36, and 48 hours for you.
Child cool down.
Don’t be so hot headed.
Learn patience and show some restraint.
Momma, is as chill as a cucumber.
And as soft as a marshmallow.
What if mama asked and talked like you?
What would you do?
Could you handle her rage?
Frustration and pain.
Or would you dry up.
Like that white stain on the bed sheets?
She gave you life.
But you take happiness from her.
You have sucked her breasts dry like a parasite.
You eat when she feeds you.
And waste all that is given.
With never a thank you or even a hug.
She has feelings, just like you!
Mom cries to!
And in her room at night, the pillows are wet with tears
She hides swollen eyes with colorful shadows
And mascara.
Child don’t show your momma your bad side.
Don’t talk to her like that.
