Christianity

Why should we desecrate Jesus Christ
a man with the purpose of change.
Multitudes witnessed his greatness
many times.
Word of him scattered throughout the world
in many forms.
Walking Earth to teach man compassion,
a caretaker with precious treasures.
True heart-felt love of mankind,
Christians who find their way
are Blessed with peaceful hearts.
Believe in one God,
giving his only son, half man
one who trudged through life's tortures,
enduring Hell here.
Yet, he still loves each of us.
Who is to criticize
blind to his sacrafices.
Where are his multitudes
the witnesses of this man?
They are here,
inside the peaceful.
Fooled is the man who thinks this the finale.
We as people should worship
the God we trust.

What an awesome testimony - poetry and prose are such a strong tool, and to bear witness on a site of this magnitude is admirable - and humble simultaneously. Wonderful words - 10

thank you for your comment m/f. I appreciate them :)

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
