    Circus animals

I do not like the Circus animals...
Dog does not look like the dog,
Horse as horse and lion as lion...
For a tiny piece of sugar
    They humiliate their dignity…
They do not mind to creep
    Even on their knees...
    Why? For what?!
Just for a tiny sugar piece.

WOW! "An ironical piece"..................not "pece." Pardon!

An ironical pece ,succinctly written. Its brevity effectively enforces its satirical opinion of a pandering humanity that is prone to settle for less. My rating for diction , tone, flow and piquancy is a full ten

And yet, how cheaply the human animal sells its soul!

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
