Climbing the Mountain of Life

The higher one’s goals are the greater the heights of achievement

You must take each step one foothold at a time

Only looking back to measure your progress

Many of us go through life viewing everything from ground level

afraid to take any steps upward

Always going around each hill instead of steadily over it

Notice if you will, that if you climb each mountain as if it were your horizon,

life then becomes a simpler road to travel

However if you make each move vertically and keep looking down

it will take all your strength just to keep from falling

             When you reach each desired destination you should always greatly appreciate

 how far you have come

And you should always realize your true abilities,

knowing that to obtain each goal

you have not far to go to reach your ultimate plateau
