I know what you're going through,
you don't want to go home because you get abused.
Close your eyes, and imagine running away,
everything will be okay.
Your mom is always drinking and yelling,
your dad is on Central, constantly selling.
Close your eyes, don't think about it,
they don't realize what's going to happen.
You dream a dream; you wish a wish, wishing your wish will come true,
a dream is for sleeping, a wish is upon a star, just HOPE it will come through.
I want you to close your eyes and pray,
everything will be okay.
