Comatose
My dreams are filled with thoughts of you,
your smile it haunts me still.
If you will not be with me,
I wish you'd go for good.
If i glance over my shoulder, i swear I see you following,
yet i know you would could never,
But my heart still longs to dream.
You were always on your path so straight,
scared to walk with me along the crooked.
My subconcious tried to cope,
by making a world just for the both of us.
There, you kiss me everyday,
your body held close to mine.
There, tender touch was all it took,
and i was yours forever.
I'd run into my world,
escaping the truth of you and I.
But now I've finally escaped,
and you've run out of time.
I'm trapped inside my enchanting world,
but your trapped behind a wall of glass.
I swear I heard you whisper to me,
but the walls protect my heart.
