Kiss Me Sweetly, Kill Me Gently
Rain softly tapped against the window pane.
Music blasted through the room, drowning the sound of her sobs.
Her fist clenched as the razor caressed her arm, leaving a trail of crimson regret.
Tears fell to her arm, mixing with the regret.
His face danced through her subconscious, his smile taunting her.
His promise of eternal love burned inside her heart.
She sacrificed everything to be his, but he sacrificed her with a kiss.
They used to be passionately in love, but now she was lucky if he spoke to her.
He got up and just left her. He said it was because he found something big and better.
She watched him walk out of her life, giving up on her was easy for him but she never forgot.
He used to kiss her sweetly, but now the memories of those kisses kill her gently.
