    Crying Inside

I cry so silently, yet so loud
My insides tremble as my heart shatters
Yet those around me can’t hear my cry

My eyes water, but a tear dare not fall
My lips tremble but my smile stands strong
Even still those around me can’t hear my cry

My nose burns to show appreciation for my hurt
Still my posture and pose goes unchanged
However those around can’t hear my cry

My lungs start to pulsate for its element of choice
As my mouth opens to taste the space around me
My cry escapes into the heavens for all to hear

I've had times in my life when the hurt was so bad I thought I would die. No one noticed because I hid it so well. It was when I was alone that it hit the hardest. Time passes, wounds heal and only scars remain. Good poem. TS

Only he can hear the silent cry within me! Good start to your beginnings!

It's very good! sometimes this really happens....

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
