Cupid's sickness
I’m quite smittenSo bitten, by cupid’s odd sickness
So I float towards the Zenith with fairy dust uplifting my spirit
Wishing this palpitating heart could catch its breath in an instant
For the butterflies in my stomach sack don’t sit well
How they got there?
Got my mind quite bewildered
Could it be the fair morning air?
Mayhap expectations of discovering gemstones rare
My mind scratches its high-brow to solve this enigma
Feeling slip-shod by this hearts intoxicated spinning
Until this heart divulged the reason for its cardio-arrest phase by singing
I’m a captive held to the highest ransom
By a cunning thief that stolen my minute hand
Killing coursing sands through this hour glass
A picturesque nighting gale with a nature to profound for Flora’s boundless feats
Since I first opened my eyes
All l could see was her soothing Monalisa smile enveloping the skies
For her affection I seek for like a mountain climber scaling a high peak
Even if I had cold feet, I would gladly grit my teeth
Letting frost bite run circles around me
She is, was, will be, the dawn that brings the earth splendours light beams
Her name of grace is Zee
Quite a ponderous being, a catch to pale any dream
For without her presence, reality is but a monotonous stead without an essence
Thus the heart had bleed out all its reasons with this lyrical sign!
My brain weighted up all the possibilities’
Overheated its circuit breakers as it thought of a notion to cure this heart broken
For to live the fantasy is the only repose to the burning question of worthy note
