Defiance in color

Rose-colored glasses are not the problem

but a temporary solution in avoiding a sort of Catatonic state.

A source, a lesser ambitious soul can

hold and twist like a kaleidoscope of denial.

Just the cheerfulness of the rose color itself suggests that the situation

be viewed as feminine, soft, not to be taken seriously.

So ask yourself this; is the trance behind the hue, unconscious or

otherwise a brilliant piece of trickery exhibited for pure secretive pleasure?

A roses thorns are not a fragile decoration but a visually sharp reminder

of the pain anything hidden behind beauty is capable of.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
