endless nights

Endless nights starring at the rain
            thinking of you
watching the trees sway back and forth
      dance like thoughts of you in my mind........
the night grows darker every moment your
    not around.
Endless nights counting stars
           I'd steal them for you
listening to the wind whisper your name
           as i chase the echoes in the distance
finding myself where I've always been
            alone when your not around.
Endless nights, i wish they would end
            and we would begin
but when i look out my window there i see
             complete emptiness afar
as i know there outside my window lye's a world
           we will never hold hands in.
Endless nights is all that they are and become
           i will not run from you
but also can not stay here anymore
           for in my dreams you will live
and in my heart i will never forget you
                 and always love you.
