    Entry of the Sun

    .
    Entry of the Sun
    .
It is time, let's have some fun
Celebrating the entry of the sun
    .
Hurry up only three days to go
Party time let the spirits flow
    .
Dance all night under the moon
Time to rest will come too soon
    .
Come on girls now play your trick
Tie up boys, beat them with a stick
    .
Rub some black goo on their face
Don't worry today it's no disgrace
    .
Don't be mean or use the stick to poke
Please be kind just pranks and a joke
    .
Not the best time to be a man
    During the annual Maha Songkran
    .
It is the time that most consider good
In the land filled with sounds of wood

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
