    Where I (They) Go

    .
    Where I (They) Go
    .
I have room where I am safe and sound
Hours spent to ensure no edges, all was round
    .
No ropes to bind, no locks, no chains
A table and chair is all it contains
    .
When the feeling starts I shut myself in
But my room wobbles and starts to spin
    .
I paid for my sin when I didn't heed
Light comes to me bending like a reed
    .
The curves flatten and I pull at my hair
Lock the door and crouch on the chair
    .
Angles for spirits and demons to squeeze by
I am asleep dreaming and this is all a lie
    .
Horrible red things with mangled faces
The spawn from hell and other worse places
    .
Their tails wrapped around my neck choking
Then run through my head tearing and poking
    .
I hear from within sounds of horrible pain
They know, absolute, complete is their reign
    .
They see, they hear, nothing else matters
What they say leaves my soul in tatters
    .
Look once maybe twice make sure I'm alone
Shadows are gone now back to their home
    .
Left me a canvas, a temptation to inspire
Tear it to shreds then throw it into the fire
    .

Insanity is not necessarily a bad thing...it really does help when one learns this. You certainly have.

very well done, like the way it flows

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
