Eternal Separation

I see you roll your eyes,
I see you roll your eyes,
You're mocking Him...
The One who knew no sin.

Not only that, but who are you
To think there's no reprecussion,
For mocking Him,
For mocking Him,
The One who knew no sin.

He died for you,
He loved you,
While you hated Him.
Go on in your sin
You mocker,
He rose again.

You can never change the Truth.
The Truth can not be changed.

Go ahead and live your lie.
He will not be shamed.

His Truth will ever remain the same,
You will go down to the pit.
Save your life by choosing Him,
Death and destruction can never win
In the presence of the One
Who knew no sin.

You build up your idols,
They can not stand
In the light of redemption.

They make you blind,
You cannot see
Beyond your lustful loves.
For what?
Why do they matter?
What have you done?
What are you doing?
You are dying in your sin.
You are blind and imprisoned.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
