EVER WONDER WHAT GOD FEELS

Do you ever wonder what God must feel?
Do you think God ponders,
"did I give my children to much free will"?

Think of all God has faced,
Raising the children of the human race.
Like wild teenagers we temp his fate.

Does God draw a patient breath ?
when we roll our eyes,
at the Scripture of his word .
As we walk away ,
pretending we have not heard

Is It pride he feels?
 when we help other's heal.
Does God cry ?
When we take each other’s life’s,
in a petty robbery or bad drug deal.

Frustrated with all the  time outs he’s tried ,
counting from 0 to 5.  
When he thinks we have gone to far,
does God spank us with a plague?  
To put us back ,in our place,
or perhaps God use’s tough love .
By just watching from above .

Does God sit up all night?
Hearing our cries,  in the form of prays.
Sending us miracles, to let us know he cares .
When God  hears  " I don’t know" , "not me",
Does God wonder where they could be?

Does his mouth  hang out?
From the profanity that we spout.
Does he boast when we fight ,
for freedom in is his name ?
Or hang is head in  silent shame,
for all the ones left dead and maimed.

So is God a distraught parent,  or a proud father?
        I~ truly ~truly  ~wonder
