    Everytime I Look

Everytime I look I see brothers
weekend seekin' another young chick and they have their pick
They get the conceited and soon
    their defeated
Cause he found her spot, got her hot and to her knees did she drop
Everytime I look I shake my head and laugh cause its a shame
    But...
Who am I to judge, I too was once caught up in the game
My favorite color became my lover and in nine months became a mother
Everytime I look I wanna scream and shout
But my pride wont let me because its pride is to loud
Everytime I look do you see what I see
Or are you looking in another direction
Cause like me this to can become your lesson

if this is who i think it is, all i can say is i cant wait to read your book... i've been on here for months now, and this is the first time i've read poems like these... you shouldput these on face book or myspace, so other young females can read... Good job...

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
