All my soul does is weep
after I pray the Lord it
should keep
Broken down and alone
to many variables
unknown
Single mother;unemployed
and broke
This aint forreal;this has to be a joke
I have yall back
while
mine is scratched up and bruised
"Patience is a Virtue"
I can't wait to get what im due
I use to be that kid with all them dreams
Nothing is ever as it seems

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
