    Feel The Cold

    Can you feel the cold?
It is there on the screen, when I try to talk,
I feel a shiver when he doesn’t say a thing.
The words “Hello Love” used to burn warm,
but the words are there no more, only silence.

    Can you feel the cold?
How did I loose him so soon? It seems only yesterday,
that we were sharing a Love so true and pure.
I wish it was not this way, like ice upon my heart.
Oh, how I miss the warmth of his love for me.

    Can you feel the cold?
I feel as if a part of me has vanished from life,
that it will never more be able to feel warmth again,
a piece of my heart, broken and scarred,
has been stolen from me when he took his love away.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
