Fighting the Dragon
I've see that face before...in hallucinagenic (?) dreams, with colors melting to the floor...and old plasmatic schemes, knowing not from where they came...I sprout and spread my wings, looking up she does the same...and then begins to sing,
She sings of life outside the orb...she tells a haunting story, with words I consiously absorb...in their lacidic acid glory, they flow along the melody...causing me to rush, and inbetween the notes I see...her wisodm and her blush,
Eating steel a retching gold, they handed me the means now I can't let go, and in the shadow waiting so intense, they prey upon the weak of heart who haven't the guts to repent;
I know a place in time where people shed no tears...and dragons bellow poetry, with incoherent fears...never hearing what they say...I turn and fade to black,and inbetween the night and day we slowly head on back,
She takes my hand and kisses it...as seeds fall from her hair, they fall and fall and just don't quit...as she rises into the air, turning into faces now...I'v seen them all before, and as I start to scream and shout they all begin to roar,
Eating steel and retching gold, they handed you the means now you can't let go, and in the shadows waiting so intense, you prey upon the weak of heart who haven't the guts to repent.
She sings of life outside the orb...she tells a haunting story, with words I consiously absorb...in their lacidic acid glory, they flow along the melody...causing me to rush, and inbetween the notes I see...her wisodm and her blush,
Eating steel a retching gold, they handed me the means now I can't let go, and in the shadow waiting so intense, they prey upon the weak of heart who haven't the guts to repent;
