Mary's Love
Inside a decaying cardboard box, beyond the railroad station locks, someone awake and breathing slow...watches as the winter blows,
The swirling white flakes tumble on, beneath the night and far beyond, the station lights so dimly lit...upon the roof top where they sit,
Amidst the cold winters voice, silently above the noise, between the ground and sky above...floats the light of Mary's love,
It was here in dire need I called, huddled there against the wall, with faces grey and calling me...to fall into eternity,
But eyes appeared fierce and strong, the demons fled under her song, and there she touched my haggard face...with lines a plenty like tattered lace,
I softly spoke and she did hush, my words so foul to cause her blush, yet there she stayed in winters glow...with myself under the snow.
