Flow River Though You Take Away My Breath
Flow river though you take my very breath
beneath your waves in silence I submit
and roll and float, no need to surface now
the blood within me surging to your crest
Flow River with your pungent scent of life
and death rolled into one dynamic boil
Your frigid waters stained with captive lust
excite the fire that burns within my breast.
Entranced I stood before you filled with fear
when passion with it's fiery fingers waved
a twisted vast kaleidoscope of need
my only quest the darkness of your strength.
Flow river, bend me, break me as you will
for this one chance to quench a thirst so rare
I disavow the life that held me still
to ride the rivers depths and breadth and length.
And now we roll as one, your lust and mine
entwined in one force greater than our own
flow river let us tango for the stars
in loves impassioned kiss forever more.
beneath your waves in silence I submit
and roll and float, no need to surface now
the blood within me surging to your crest
