While In the Eye...
Mixed blessing this
volcanic love
uncensored
unbridled
unforgiving.
Step on a crack
the brittle ledge
unbroken
unfinished
unimagined.
What value life
who's metal lies
unchallenged
untempered
undefeated
I cast my fate
and roll the dice
uncovered
unburdened
unpretentious
Now win or lose
I've tasted love
unending
unfettered
unrepentant
This book is mine
each page to fill
unshackled
unpressured
uncompromising.
If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
