Forgivness

Forgivness

Forgive the sins of a man off track
Forgive him his evil ways
Forgivness is the only way
Bare unto him your love
Hold him close as you can
His wounds open to the evil ways
Only you can heal his heart
Broken it is from sins long past
Hear his words of terror and anger
His world ripped apart in times long ago
In need of your heart to heal him so
Take what you may from my own memories
Hear me and listen to my own humble plea

I don't know what to say. I haven't the power to grant your wishes, but I certainly wish the best for you, my troubled friend. Good work. You are very artistic, but you need to hone in on it more and tweak it a little.

Interesting sentiment. Not entirely sure that man isn't beyond redemption, though. Well written.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
