UPA Challenge for all invitation for the group

Ok now that we have made our mark here, This is what were doing one of our founders had made up this challenge to write about a specific color. Any color will due. we will read it comment on it and if its good enough we shall offer the UPA agreement by this sunday. So for those that would like to join the UPA we welcome all commers bring your best because thats all were looking for. All 5 founding members need to comment and rate on the poem for any agreements to be sent out. Thanks for your intrest thus far into our group and wish you well on this challenge Robert AKA Plot121.

Please post the name of the poem in the forum and post the words open invite UPA challenge into the poem you submit on your profile. Thanks for you help and hope to see alot of poets try out. Robert...

An Ode to Pink

An Ode to Pink
Taronis – ‘00

A wisp of air with a familiar scent
I pick this bouquet so fragrant
Of fresh and ripe and full of juice
Carried on pink-scented winds

A flower spread, drips with dew
A soft caress, a touch, so moist
A singular spot amid the pedals
A cherry rose amid the tangle

Odor fervent and full and musk
Senses tingle at her dusk
Pedals open, this fire rushes
The touch, the feel, the wetness

All the perfect sites are pink
Gives a lad some cause to think
Into this fen his soul to sink
Of her nectar so to drink

Splendor, rapture incarnate
In this space so inviting
A rose garden so enticing
What wonder, so full and rich!

I tried a poem about the first of spring when everything seems so brown. It's called "Spring Brown, the Beginning" I accept all comments, even those that are hard to swallow. I hope y'll like it, but I trust you'll be honest if you don't.
