    Poem Commentary

    I was recently reunited with an old friend from high school..we've been hanging out and getting to know each other again...he told me that he liked me in high school but was to shy to say anything...he's been there for me thru these trying times and I just wanted to find some way of showing him how it made me felt.

    Friendship

    When I was down
    You lifted me back up
    When a tear I shed
    A shoulder u lent
    When I need to talk
    You sat and Listened
    Without Judgement
    Your gentle carresses
    So much they meant
    You are a good friend
    So loyal and true
    Good friends are hard to find
    Mine I hope you always will be
    More than friendship
    Is what you see
    For we not know
    What the future holds
    Maybe one day it could be
    More that friendship
    Between you and me
    But Honestly
    Right now friendship
    Is all I have in me
