Ghost On the Roadside
A single drop of a cloud's tear falls
She leans her head against the window
"Why is he so late?" she wonders
As the rain that fell now descends as snow
How could she have known
that he was not coming home at all
She coudn't have known
He was gone when the snow ceased to fall
He is gone now
She hangs her head and now she cries
He is alone now
He is nothing more
Than a ghost on the roadside
Conquring the darkest of her demons
She wields her power to see his future fate
Her lover is in shambles, lifeless
She had to act before it was too late
How could she have known
That she was the reason due to her crystal ball
She coudn't have known
He was gone when the snow ceased to fall
He is gone now
She hangs her head and now she cries
He is alone now
He is nothing more
Than a ghost on the roadside
And now her heart is speaking for her
Blasphomy was given to her tonight
In an attempt to witness what she didn't want to see
She found herself staring at two white lights
How could she have known
That she should have never beckoned a demon's call
She coudn't have known
He was gone when the snow ceased to fall
They are gone now
In the end is seems that everybody dies
They are alone now
They are nothing more
Than ghosts on the roadside
