    Heaven's Sparkling Eyes

     If today is marked 
    To be my last
    And I shall take my final breath
    Always know your place 
    Within my heart
    And the past never regret
    You shall remain 
    Within my soul
    Though together we cannot be
    Each breath you take 
    Every time you wake
    Please remember me
    And if I'm not here tomorrow
    Please don't shed a tear
    Know I am with you always
    With each passing year
    Just look into the starlight
    There you'll find me in disguise
    For I'll be watching o'er you
    Through heaven's sparkling eyes

    Wow. Talk about having peace with closure and expressing it with such grace and strength. Lovely.

    I'm not quite I am at peace with closure just quite yet but finding it easier to write in a fictitious manner...

    Great Job! Very heartfelt. The mark of a true poet. You are able to convey your feelings in such a beautiful way. Very impressive.

    thanks for all your comments and support...i truly appreciate feedback and criticism...you mentioned that some are too long and i thought so myself, perhaps you give some advice on which lines to nix?
