Shattered glass, broken dreams
a few of the things that are not what they seem.

Tightly wound fist, frowned up eyes
the amount of anger built up inside.

Heavy hearts, sorrowful cries
burdens we carry cause we can't deny,
how love can be given and then taken away,
someone in your life, then gone the next day.

You took them away from me far too soon
now all I do is just stare at the room.

A cold cold world, a lonely life
how your world could be shattered in just one night.

A very dark place, a blanket to weep
dreams I keep having but I'm never asleep
vidoes of moments happy and sad
fun filled pictures of the love we had.

Missing you more then you ever would know
wanting you more then I can possibly show.

I can't change what happened but I can't let go
I'll try to move on but you never really know.

The time will come when I let you move on
