Hope and Love
Love is a luxury that some people wish to have.
Hope is a feeling that we must never let go.
Love can shatter your heart and soul.
Hope can keep your spirit strong and tempered.
Love is more than just a feeling.
Hope is more than a thought.
Love alone can help you or break you.
Hope can guide you with all the pain.
Together Love and Hope can always save you because in the end you will always have each other.
Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
