Looming Shadows

Looming Shadows

I sit alone in the darkness seeing shadows.
These shadows want my life, my soul.
Is there no end to the torment they bring to me.
I feel their dark hands on my throat.
They are claw at my very soul.
I will be nothing more than an empty shell.
I will soon become a shadow as well.

How devouringly creepy. Are you dealing with dark forces or is this metaphorical?

things in this world can really kill you but things that are unseen and unknown are far worse in the end.

I truly have inner demons that shred my life apart.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
