    HOPELESS HEART

    Have you ever experienced
    The time when you wake up in the middle of the night
    And feel nothing but emptiness
    All you see is darkness and shadows of loneliness.

    Did it ever enter your mind
    You’re the one I’ve been missing in my life
    When will I see the love in your eyes
    Guess I’ll never win this fight.

    I thought in my dreams I found you
    But I never seem to get the nearness of you
    When will be the right time for you to love me
    For even now you never seem to recognize me.

    I’ll wait for that day when you come to realize you need me
    And until the day you finally come to love me
    Boy, you never have to impress me
    ‘Coz in my heart you have that special space inside me.
