How can we still be friends

How can we still be friends
    when we dont talk
I use to think that we
    were ment to be
now I dont think it was our destiany
you sleep when I am awake and
I sleep when you are awake
    I miss your friendly words
    but am not sure how
much more pain I can take
    friends are suppose to talk
    I wish I could walk
to have you in my companie
    to laugh,cry,talk,and joke
I feel like I am just
a marienet puppet that someone plays with
to make me laugh when they want
    or to make me cry
I feel I have no control
    over myself
that someone else is making me live this life
I wish I could talk to you still
    Its like our friendship
    is not real
you have been with me through alot
I dont think this is how it should end
but how can we still be friends
    I will hang in there
and maybe we can talk from time to
    time
    and catch a glimps
but I dont want you to be another vanished friend
    so do something for me
drop me an e-mail so I can
see that you are still here with me

there are some catchy line in this poem overall is nicely stated

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
