    I Can't Believe

    I can't believe you have a spell
On me which I couldn't tell.
    Everyone can really see it
I just dont understand why you did it.
I thought you didn't like me
I thought I was just your friend.
You could've just let me be
But our friendship will never end.
At least that's what you said
I tried to get that in my head.
    I couldn't believe you
Because of what me and my friends went through.
But I realize you're true friend
That will be there with me til the end.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
