I LIVE OUT ON THE EDGE

I live out on the edge of life, sometimes I want to fall,
I scream for people to hear me , but  they don't listen at all.
we all need someone to talk to every now and then.
a person we can count on , someone we call a friend.

I live out on the edge of space, where it's all dark, real black.
and sometimes I don't know if I can ever make it back.
I try real hard to make , it but everytime I do,
I  don't see the light on the other side, it just doesn't shine through.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
