I SIT ALONE

SITTING IN THE CORNER ,
ALL ALONE.
I WONDER WHY AM I HERE

WONDER WHEN I CAN MOVE
I'M NOT THINKING CLEAR.

SUNS BEATING DOWN ON ME
MY FACE IS GETTING HOT

WHY IS NO ONE TALKING TO ME
I WONDER WHAT I GOT,

SITTING IN THE CORNER
JUST ME MYSLF AND I
WONDERING WHAT I HAVE DONE WRONG
I DO NOT KNOW
SO I JUST SIT AND CRY

To the point but powerful, and far too familiar I might add, you should consider lengthening this and submitting it to the contest It has much potential.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
