LIGHT HEARTED AM I

LIGHT HEARTED, AM I
NEVER A DULL MOMENT GOES BY,

 SOMETIMES I WANT TO SCREAM,
IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN,

 SADNESS I FEEL, I KNOW IT'S REAL,
I WANT TO RUN AND HIDE,

BUT I HAVE TO MUCH PRIDE.

HEAVY BURDEN I HOLD, WHEN I WAS TOLD
 THAT MY LIFE WILL CHANGE.

 LIFE SOMETIMES IS STRANGE

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
