I Played The Fool

I Played The Fool

Yes I played the fool that loved you, adored you, and placed no one above you
Yes I played the fool that babied you, played with you,and yes even gave unto you.

Gave you my heart,my soul, and everything that cost more then gold
Yes I played that fool that let you steal my heart over and over for a brand new start

Yes I am that fool that believed  you, treated you, and gave my all to make it thru
Gave my all to make a love so small grow so strong, just so you could lead me on
Yes, you right, I am that dummy(lol) that listened to everything you say
Im that dummy that ends today

I played that fool that became wise to see
That this here fool that was played.................. found the best of me
You the Fool that is now sorry
